"Where Stories Grow".

At Watered Roots, we believe that every person, idea, or story begins with a seed. We provide the nurturing environment that your creativity needs to thrive.

Our story began when a group of creatives decided that instead of waiting for someone to give us the opportunity in the industry and quote, unquote, Make It! Why not Make It ourselves?

What We Do

As a new Production Company, we are deeply committed to the art of storytelling and bringing new, exciting ideas to life. Our dedication to this craft is what drives us, and we are excited to share this passion with you through our network of creatives across all departments. The majority of us share a common background, having met at drama and film schools. It can be difficult for individuals to leave university and begin a creative career in this industry. Things can be quiet and lonely in the beginning. Many people relinquish their creative dreams within the first six months and settle for a 9-5 job to pay the bills. Many of us have Muggle jobs, but Watered Roots has enabled us to reignite our imaginations, come together, and get creative as we collectively strive to make creativity a full-time occupation.

Our Branch of Values:

CREATIVITY:
To celebrate the unique power of human imagination.

COLLABORATION:
Bring ideas to life utilising our network of creatives. We believe in unity and teamwork, including on-the-job skill sharing.

COMMUNITY:
We prioritise the well-being and growth within our creative organisation.

INNOVATION:
Embrace new ideas, technologies, and storytelling methods.

SOCIAL IMPACT:
A shared purpose drives our company: to make bold, meaningful stories that positively impact our audience and ecosystem, inspiring others to get creative.
